Here is a list of our favorite beers. Our favorites are stouts, porters, ales, malts, and lagers. If you have a favorite you’d like us to try, let us know and we’ll try it on the show.
Porters
Founders Porter – Full flavor with strong chocolate and caramel malt presence.
Founders Niro Oatmeal Stout – Rich and creamy with notes of barley, Nugget hops, and oatmeal.
Harpoon Dunkin’ Coffee Porter – Dunkin’ and Harpoon Brewery team up to bring a seasonal coffee porter that is balanced and smooth. An aroma of espresso up front, followed by notes of dark chocolate & vanilla.
Sam Adams Winter Classics – Specifically the Holiday Porter & Chocolate Bock. The Chocolate Bock has a malty character that is combined with the sweetness of chocolate, giving this brew a smooth rich taste.
Entire Porter from Strange Land Brewery. – Has a roasted malty and bittersweet chocolate flavor. Nothing fancy; just a nice smooth porter from a cool looking can.
Highland Brewing’s Oatmeal Porter. – Dense black with light brown head that lingers for a while. It’s nothing extraordinary, but it has a pleasant taste of roasted malts and vague sweetness.
Stouts
KBS – Bourbon barrel aged coffee stout. Thick stout brewed with coffee and chocolates. Aged in oak bourbon barrels for an entire year.
Dragons Milk bourbon barrel stout – A barrel aged stout with roasty malt character intermingled with deep vanilla tones.
Firestone Mocha Merlin from Firestone Walker Brewing company.
Slippin Into Darkness Russian Imperial Stout. – A thick stout is 10.5% ABV with Coffee and Cocoa nibs, and will not disappoint.
