Featured Beverage
On this episode, I’m having a Death by King Cake from Oskar Blues Brewing. It’s a 6.5 percent ABV porter brewed with cacao nibs, cinnamon, nutmeg, orange peel, pecans, and vanilla. The vanilla smells nice with the cinnamon orange peel, but not getting much cocoa nibs or pecans. Taste is a little too sweet at the beginning. You can definitely taste the caramel & vanilla. I give it 2.5/5 pints.
Sean is having a Texas Bourbon Barrel Stout from Ranger Creek Brewing. It pours dark brown with little head. Has a sweet aroma of bourbon. Has a light sweet taste. Sean gives it 4.5/5 pints.
Enjoy the show and cheers!
